velpanat for hepatitis c

Velpanat

velpanat for hepatitis c

The combination

Velpanat is a combination of Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir in one tablet which you take once a day. The usual course is for 12 weeks but sometimes it is recommended to take it for 24 weeks depending on your genotype. Your doctors recommendation will help you with this or you can see some important genotype research here to help you decide.

Velpanat is exactly the same as Epclusa.

A warning: You shouldn’t take it with amiodarone nor St John’s wort.

The cost to you in the West

Patent holder can charge what they want unfortunately and they have priced this medicine so high making it unaffordable. In the UK the full 12 week treatment is currently £39,000 in Europe it is above €30,000 and the US $74,000

Prescription

To be able to get the medicine in the West you are required to first get a prescription and only a hospital specialist is allowed to do it.

Most likely you will not be able to get even a “private” prescription although you can try, most doctors won’t do it. It is extremely rare to be able to get one in the UK or the USA.

If you don’t have a prescription, don’t worry. A test showing you personally have HCV is enough.

Ideally your doctor can help you with the recommended medicine for you to take and can follow you up during treatment. It is not always possible. Do you research online, it is worth it, it is your health.

I am providing access to Velpanat at £590 or $750 for a 12 week treatment. Delivered to your door coming directly from a chemist in India. The medicine is genuine and it is a 100% guarantee that the parcel will reach you.
